Growth Support

If your business is not achieving its potential, your company culture may be holding you back.

A Highly Productive Culture is achieved when leaders and managers create an environment where individuals, teams and the company thrive and grow.

Is every member of the team, from your newest recruit to your most senior Board member, motivated and engaged in delivering towards the same shared goal?

At ValuingYou our flexible approach puts you in charge.  Our experienced team can provide support in the development of a Highly Productive Culture, at whatever level you need.  To give you a flavour, here are some of our support options:

Workshops

1. Assessing the Environment

The first and critical step is to get the key decision-makers on board with the need for change.  This practical workshop will help you to understand and assess the current impact that your business culture is having on employee engagement, productivity and profit.

Outcome: in identifying the key components, you will scope a business case to demonstrate the financial impact that your existing culture has on your company performance.

2. Designing the future

This workshop is focused on “beginning with the end in mind”. The aim is to involve leaders and key stakeholders in drafting a vision, defining a set of values and associated behaviours. Also included is the measurement of your starting point, the scoping of your change plan and agreement of how you will track your progress.

Outcome: to create clarity and collective commitment to the vision, values and associated behaviours, plus agreed methodology to track your progress.

3. Growing a Highly Productive Executive Culture

Any change needs to be driven from the top.  It is critical that the senior leaders are committed to the change both in word and in action.  This workshop is designed to work directly with the leaders to identify how they individually and collectively live the values, through their decision-making, actions and behaviours.

Outcome: individual and collective commitment and accountability to grow a Highly Productive Executive and company-wide culture.

4. Introducing your Highly Productive Culture

This workshop provides an introduction to the value of a Highly Productive Culture and what it means for your company. Gain input and insights to help shape the landscape for a Highly Productive Culture.  Introduce the role of Culture Catalysts and encourage volunteers.

Outcome: engagement in the need for change, input obtained to finalise the key components of the draft plan, Culture Catalysts identified.

5. Cultivating your Culture Part 1

This workshop is designed specifically for those people who you want to drive the change – your Culture Catalysts.  We will equip your Catalysts with the confidence, skills and techniques to successfully influence people across your organisation, to proactively drive and grow your own Highly Productive Culture.

Outcome: a network of confident and skilled Culture Catalysts who are able to represent their colleagues and contribute to the design, communication and growth of your Highly Productive Culture.

6. Cultivating your Culture Part 2

Although people are a big part of a change in culture, it is important that the change is also integrated through technology and process.  This is a practical workshop designed to work with the key stakeholders across your business, to identify the technology and process changes needed, to align how the business operates to achieve a Highly Productive Culture.

Outcome: actions, owners and timescales agreed to integrate and embed a Highly Productive Culture.

7. Growing Your Own Highly Productive Managers

Your managers are a critical part of the roll-out of any change along with the successful sustainability of the change.  So this is a practical workshop focused on up-skilling managers to, not only be modelling the right behaviours themselves, but also how to successfully embed the behavioural change in their teams.

Outcome: managers know how to adapt their style and have the confidence to support the change needed. Staff identify with the values and associated behaviours and are able to adopt new ways of working.

8. Introducing Highly Productive Conversations

Changing behaviours is a critical part of creating a sustainable change in culture.  So up-skilling your people to be able to give constructive behavioural feedback is essential to growing a Highly Productive Culture.  Our very successful Tricky Conversations Workshop© is designed to introduce the value of behavioural feedback and equip you to be able to give and receive behavioural feedback.

Outcome: confidence in giving and receiving behavioural feedback.

Coaching

One of our overall aims at ValuingYou, is to provide a programme of support for our clients which allows them to create sustainable change.

There is increasing evidence that people attending leadership (or any development) and training programmes, struggle to put what they’ve learnt into practice.

Our experience has clearly evidenced that successful culture change is only achieved when people are properly supported throughout the change journey.  Changing behaviour is like changing the habits of a lifetime and this doesn’t happen overnight, however committed they are.

One aspect of the support we provide, which can really help to sustain and truly embed the learning from any change interventions, is coaching.

1:1 coaching can really help managers and leaders to explore their individual contribution to change. At ValuingYou our experienced coaches adopt a blend of support, challenge and accountability to help leaders enhance their self awareness to enable them to bring about personal change.  The aim is to create leaders who can be strong role models of the culture they want to see across the organisation; to be walking the talk.
